DL is the rack line: DL365 in 1U, DL380 and DL385 in 2U. The Gen11 generation moved the line to DDR5 memory and PCIe Gen5 expansion, and the DL380 remains the line's centre of gravity — the model estates standardise on for virtualisation and general compute, with the management tooling (iLO) that larger fleets are built around.
