How condition is labelled
Refurbished and used are two different offers and the words are not interchangeable here. A refurbished server has been inspected, tested and brought to a working, saleable state before it is listed. A used server is offered as it stands, tested for basic function, with its condition described as found. The word that applies appears next to every model named on this page and on every quote that follows from it.
The used Supermicro SYS-421GE-TNRT in our shop range is carried on this page and nowhere else in the catalogue, labelled used. No stock claim is made for it: ask for the current position when you inquire, and ask for serial numbers and condition photos before shipment.
